The Valencian automotive cluster Avia, which brings together about 120 companies, wants to carry out a project that will make Ford and the Juan Carlos I supplier park the first industrial estate in the automotive industry to use automatic guided vehicles connected to 5G for its logistics.

The first step to achieve this objective has been the development of a pilot that is being launched by one of Ford’s suppliers, Grupo Segura, in collaboration with Fivecomm, to carry out the first tests of the application of 5G to the remote guidance of a vehicle inside the Grupo Segura facilities. The project is in testing phase and the final results will be obtained during the month of January.
